Random Question Thread XXIV: #Occupy the RQT

Ok so I read about the augments on relic+2 gear and saw te list of stuff, but have we found out how you actually augment the gear?

I traded the NQs to moogle and read all the stuff on the trial he gave me, but it just listed the +2 item and didnt even mention augments.

What am I missing here...? Or is it still a mystery?

Also as for limit break quest, my group has found a pretty solid start, havent actually won yet but its a lot better than just "throw an ochain at it" or "alexander"

First off, getting a dancer to cap stutter step on the taru and using pizza makes them able to reliably land violent flourish. relic body heps too.

It seems that the taru likes to do 2 weaponskills back to back, but if you stun him right between the pair of weaponskills he'll just simply not do a second one. This plus a paladin with a decent -pdt build makes the fight very smooth.

Just take the fight slow and steady and dont pull hate off the paladin and he should go down easy. You can use the rarab tail when the taru 2 hours if you dont want to try relying on invincible, but we're about to try fight again with pld using invincible during undred fists and seeing if that goes the distance.

been reading drakesbane has -20% atk penalty, assuming this is fact, how does it compare to stardiver? better or worse? under what situation and so on~
I had figured stardiver kinda of sucked but -20% atk sounds painful

Okay, kind of a weird question...

Does anybody know if the game checks for AF2 drops in Dynamis individually, or does it check for a drop and then randomize which piece it is? Basically I'm wondering if I should pull all the AF2 for a given area out of Porter before I go farm there.

-50% DT on casting, no other major reductions afaik.

Has anyone got the severe damage on Coruscanti to proc since the update? I killed 200ish mobs using it today then did a dynamis run and have yet to see a proc of any kind. Assuming its still broken.

even if that were the case, you'd just be reducing your drops since SE fixed forcing loot due to rare tags.

Nope. Though I still hold the people in that video cheated. So much suspiciousness in that vid. Plus that fight supposedly took like 18 hours or something according to SE and well it has a 2 hour limit on it now
