Fusion/Reverberation means Flame, Light, and Aqua Gorgets will work.

I'm going to have to assume the ideal WS gear is a mix of DEX and Attack, with just enough Accuracy to hit whatever you're fighting. Based on the fTP, I'm going to guess that you won't want to use the gorgets/belts.

Couple of BLU sword questions. I'm new to the job at a high level, and I just couldn't comb the 540 pages or what have you of the BLU thread, and for some reason, can't figure out how to "show posts" and not "show threads" when searching. Anyways, here goes:

I know I need a sword w/ CDC, but otherwise what should I be looking at? I figure at least one PDT sword for cannonball, pulling, and tanking. What's best otherwise for offhand? Also, what's my best bet for something relatively easy to mainhand until I finish a CDC sword? It doesn't seem worthwhile to do a 2nd (or 3rd) magian sword and then not use it, or are there enough situations where I'm not meleeing AND not using a staff, but still casting that a big stat boost would help? I'm guessing at least one STR sword.

Some questions to things that I can never fucking remember...

- I know WSNM points can only be obtained from main-hand use of the weapon. What about mythic ws? Same deal, or can I offhand it?

- MNK merit suggestions? I was thinking 5/5 Counter.....3/5 Focus 2/5 Chakra for Cat1, and 5/5 Invigorate....and nfc what else for Cat2.
I only know MNK from back in the lvl75-cap era, not sure exactly how applicable formless strikes or penance are these days. lolMantra.

Seems kick attacks have gone out of style also.

5/5 Counter 5/5 kicks, you don't need footwork up to benefit from what is essentially Double Attack +1.

Cat2, I just threw in 4/5 Invig, 1/5 Formless, 5/5 Penance. Formless is nice to have, but additional merits don't decrease the timer so it's not really worth maxing. Penance isn't always used, but it's nice to have regardless when it's applicable. Combined with Shijin Spiral, Monk can pretty much nullify enemy TP gain when solo/duo/lowman.

Yeah, I won a couple of nights ago with a MNK x3, BRD, SMN, WHM pickup group... I just wanted to get some LS people through, but we only had those four jobs on (MNK, SMN, BLM, RNG)... I was more worried about him dropping a Victory Smite or Asuran on the BLM or RNG during the arrow/mana zerg.

I ended up adding a second BLM. I think I got it to like 55% with Hundred Fists + Enfire, then Atori died in a glorious blaze of Blizzaja*, Sidewinders, Barrages and Comets.

*Disclaimer: Not sure how you can have a blaze of Blizzaja, but we did anyway.

Anyone know what ele belt/gorget lines up with Entropy and Resolution? Also, would stacking INT in both slots for entropy or STR in both slots for Resolution be better? With such a high mod I'm tempted to say stats > ele belt/gorget.

A ls mate with pretty gimp gear was averaging about 2.5k with it in abyssea with 2/5 merits. He was using vermeil bhuj, chiv chain, grim cuirass, stuff like that. I imagine if it was 5/5 you could prob average 4-5k inside and close to that outside with proper gear and a high base dmg weapon. If war is one of your mains i'd def get it.

What are the stats on the next tier of suryas staff? Also what are the stats on th next level of magian mdmg staves with the 15 *ites.
Are any wiki pages updated with the requirements to further upgrade dynamis gear?

Edit: I'm working on ukon (itz stage) but have never geared the 99 abysses leeched war. Anything other than basic 5/5 eaf+2, goading, atheling, rajas, and some ah rings/earrings that I'll need to make a BG respectable set?

It'll usually be your best WS option with Bravura, but with Ukon you'd only use it for MS. May as well get it for the relic utility.
