Also listened to Dave Matthews Band, Deftones, and Sublime. At 25 or so I was introduced to Lamb of God, Killwswitch Engage, etc. I don't like the scream aspect, but I love the music. For the record, most of what those 3 listen to is encompassed in the genres I posted, and I only listed 3 bands because I assume the survey has more to do with types of music more than the actual band names.

Although I did lose a tiny bit of respect (just a tiny bit, as you are, well, you. (I mean that in a good way)) from the fact that you made this post. Anybody that says something is crap in a subject as wide, varied and subjective as music makes me raise an eyebrow. Music is perhaps the most subjective thing on the planet and we, as unique human beings, are drawn to each piece of music's uniqueness. There are thousands of reasons to like a particular song and also thousands of reasons not to like a particular song. It's our personality that determines those reasons.

I may not like any country at all, but that doesn't mean I'm going to call any of it crap just because I don't like it for my own reasons.

It is funny that even being cognizant of the reality of differences in taste, it's such a thin fucking line between "I don't enjoy that" to "that is unequivocally bad". Just articulating opinion tends to lean towards the latter, even when it's not necessarily meant as such. I guess I was double-reverse-trolling, since I was poking a bit of fun at myself even as I unintentionally trolled you even after you were trying to semi-troll someone else. The real lesson here?
