probably not, but he's more proven than prince. I'd take prince personally, but I get why other teams went so hard for poo-holes

    Here you go archi.

Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports that the Brewers have signed shortstop Alex Gonzalez to a one-year deal with a vesting option.
Full terms of the contract aren't yet known. Gonzalez, 34, batted .241/.270/.372 with 15 home runs and 56 RBI over 593 plate appearances this past season for the Braves. While he's a much better fielder than Yuniesky Betancourt, they are pretty much a wash offensively. With Milwaukee officially off the board, Jimmy Rollins looks even more likely to return to Philadelphia, though St. Louis could emerge as an interesting alternative.

Braves should go after Rollins. That'd be hot.

I love how quiet they've been and how they haven't made a move basically at all while the Marlins beefed up, the Phillies are already good, and the Nationals gain the Stras for a whole year.

Nats GM has said there's something like a 95% chance Bryce Harper will be with the big club out of spring.

Reds staying complacent with their shitty team.

Just letting the cards and brewers lose their best players

NL west is hilarious right now. There is almost literally, nothing happening, and probably will not be anything going on.

Rays just signed Matt Moore to what is essentially an 8 year $40 million contract. Even if he only turns out to be a back end starter that's a pretty damn good deal.

thats how the rays roll. sign their players to long small-mid range deals. i forge the exacts but they locked up longoria for like 9yrs realy cheap
The Tampa Bay Rays have reached agreement with rookie pitcher Matt Moore on a guaranteed five-year, $14 million contract, according to a baseball source.

The deal includes multiple club options and could extend to eight years for a guaranteed $37.5 million and buy out two years of Moore's free agency, the source said. It includes escalator clauses based on innings pitched and games started that could raise the overall value to $40 million.

The Rays plan to announce the contract at a news conference Friday afternoon, sources said.
Rays rotation next year in no particular order:

Shields, Price, Helickson, Moore, and Davis or Niemman ...so sick

why doesn't every team follow the philosophy of the rays, they contend all the time these days with like an $80 million payroll

I mean I get that they have to do it out of necessity, but shouldn't every club have that same idea
