According to ESPN Chicago's Bruce Levine, the Brewers have signed Aramis Ramirez to a three-year deal.
No word yet on the financial terms. Ramirez, 33, registered a superb .871 OPS with 26 home runs and 93 RBI in 149 games this past year for the Cubs. He's injury prone, but he's also capable of raking when healthy. The Brewers will hope that he can stay active and help replace some of the offense lost in the departure of Prince Fielder.

LMAO. Not gonna lie, me too. Was sitting on my friend's couch after coming back from the gym when the story broke on ESPN. First thing I said was "oh shit! Wonder what Archie is gonna say" and picked up my phone to check BG. Then I mocked him by saying "You're my boy Braun!" like 4 times and my friend, who doesn't watch baseball, was like what the fuck are you saying?

They really do need to get a handle on this leak shit though. People always talk about how baseball is 13-0 in arbitration or whatever implying noone has ever beat it.

Most arbitrations are done in private, as the results aren't supposed to be public knowledge until the player in question has a chance to defend himself.

And what kills me is that I mean, c'mon, it's extremely likely that he was using a banned substance and extremely likely that he'll get popped with a 50-gamer. But the fact that he hasn't had his appeal, which has proven others innocent in the past, and we as fans get to twist in the wind waiting to see if that unlikely error did occur and he'll be exonerated, makes it shitty that this supposedly "confidential" process got violated.

They need to lock shit down better.

Supposedly they're 4 times higher than any other test that lab has done (which doesn't make any sense) but it fucking sucks that we have to chase this smoke and rumors bullshit since noone can talk about it on the record.
