    I'm not entirely sure that I'd rather have Gio Gonzalez than Brad Peacock, even if we're talking strictly about 2012.

    Yeah I don't understand the Gio frenzy. He walks way too many guys and that group of prospects was pretty damn good. If they really begin the year with Bryce Harper on the big club, Nats going into win-now mode at an odd time methinks.

    I'm just not sure a guy named "Brad Peacock" can be successful. Gio is a pretty strong name though.

    He's pretty good pitcher, but his road splits are about league average and he walks a ton of batters. They gave up their #3, 4, 6, and 9 prospects for him, which is actually more than what the Phillies gave up for Halladay.

    Overrated .. Gonzalez: without his 4-0 finish (including 2-0 vs the Angels who lost 11 of last 17), this was a .500 pitcher...

    According to ko. Looked deeper into his numbers they're just average.
