Will be interesting to see Bagwell and Walker's totals. Still think McGwire and Raffy will be way down because of the 'roids, and Edgar Martinez because of DHing.
bump cuz i editd after breggy posted
Bagwell will get it eventually I think. Ugh, no love for Larry Walker. He was probably one of the best 2 or 3 outfielders of that generation. Fred McGriff is kind of a joke, definitely Hall of Very Good material, and played on a lot of good teams with playoff visibility.
Who are the four guys who voted for Bill Mueller? rofl
Fucking retarded. Trammel, Raines, Martinez, and Bagwell should also be in. And fuck those writers who are judge, jury and executioner on who may or may not have taken roids. If drug abusing wife beating alcoholics can be in cause that's what that era was about, roiders should be in as well.
when bagwell makes it, im going to cooperstown for the ceremony. was my favorite player growing up (after donnie baseball) and hes from 1 town over from me. would be awesome to get biggio+bagwell in together
i hope biggio gets in, same year as bagwell..thatd be sick..killer b's for life!
Bagwell and Raines not being voted in are the two that probably piss me off the most. Raines was the best SB/Leadoff Hitter not named Rickey Henderson during his time, and his SB % destroyed Rickey's. Trammel should hopefully get in the next year or two as his stats were pretty close to Larkin's. Morris had a good jump again, but he's only got a few years left, don't know if he's going to make it. Martinez also annoys me. He played DH cause it was available. He was that good of a hitter that Seattle would have stuck him at third base and dealt with his defensive inefficiencies if they had to and he would have been a first ballot HOFer. And who the fuck voted for Eric Young and Javy Lopez but didn't vote for Mullholand.
problem with future hall of fame ballots is this:

Next year will be interesting. I'm curious how many writers are going to try to keep the best baseball player ever out of the HOF.
Bill mueller got 4 votes?
Peter gammons has some splaining to do.
Pedro Gomes voted for bill mueller
I would like to hear why the people who didnt vote for Bagwell didnt. He might have used roids even though there has been zero evidence shouldnt be reason to not vote for someone who was one of the best 1st basemen ever.
