I'm not really either, none of the guys who allegedly used PEDs broke any existing MLB policies so they should all get credit for their stats, records, HOF resume', etc. But the NFL started that shit in '87, Bud had to be either complacent or ignorant to think that wasn't happening in MLB too.

meh, walker was a product of coors field, he would've been good but never great on a team other than the rockies.

He was basically averaging 5 wins a year in his mid 20s with the Expos, then moved on to the Cardinals and performed at a similar pace approaching his 40th birthday for the equivalent of a full season. The guy wasn't Dante Bichette.

I like the guy, used to tear shit up with my Barry Bonds/Larry Walker/KGJ outfield in Ken Griffey Baseball on the SNES, but I'm just saying his ultimate talent has mainly been his durability/long career. He only posted fWAR of 6.0 or higher twice. Granted they were two monster seasons (supported by erratic fielding data) but otherwise he was just a good player who played for a really long time.

Now, I'm not furious if a 5-time all star/1-time MVP makes the hall, just saying he's not any sort of an "obvious no-doubter" guy.
