Because no person in there right mind will take a GM position working under wolfe in those conditions outside of Billy, whose been conditioned by years of abuse and shitty salary wiggle room. Beane with money to spend is a decent GM. I'd put him in top 10. Any GM under Wolfe though is going to fail, and fail hard. I will consider this season a win if we lose less then 105 games this year. The only upside to having such a shitty team is my broke ass can afford to take my wife to a couple games on the cheap. 2 Years ago I was able to buy a discount ticket package that had 4 free tickets (28.00 each regularly for the seats we got), and 4 b.o.g.o. for fifty bucks. I can't even get a ticket to AT&T park to watch the Giants in a comperable section for fifty bucks.
