Sure, blame Carrot Top for your boy being a cheater.

Collectors statement pretty much nailed it for me. What's bad is not only is braun a cheater he's also a goddamn liar too.
As for those odds? That's the power of THEO.
Can't the MLB appeal the appeal? If they can prove that the samples arrived sealed and that the number of hours/temperature can't alter T/E levels, wouldn't they have a case? It's all water under the bridge at this point, but will continue to be a talking point for the rest of his career.
Typically arbitration is binding. Depending on how it's worded in the CBA an appeal would get tossed out immediately.
Honestly I'd rather Selig actually put more then 5 seconds of effort a month to resolve the territorial rights issue of San Jose between the Giants and A's instead of appealing the Braun ruling. This shit has been going on for 3 years and makes the Cubs/Red Sox Theo compensation look civil.
lol
They've talked big about going to court because they're butthurt that the binding arbitration they agreed to finally didn't work out the way they want it to, but the point of arbitration is to keep it out of courts. They'd have a hell of a time making their case in court that they didn't actually want arbitration this time.
The fact that only 12 people have been suspended so far shows how big of a joke MLB's drug testing is, this is just another piece of that joke.
Did you actually expect him to say anything differently? I could've written his statement in my sleep.
Doesn't really matter at this point. His image is already ruined and the court of public opinion has condemned him.
He'll never get in the HoF now, assuming he ever does anything worth being inducted.
so sick of QQ about roids/PEDs from fans who gives a fuck.. baseball would be dead without 'em and they've been a part of the game for decades.
Let's just remove and deny everyone from the HoF except Ken Griffey Jr and Cal Ripken Jr from the past 2 decades then!
think of the children tweek
Fuck it, when I was a child, I think I got my first boner watching McGwire drill the budweiser sign hanging from the second deck at the coliseum. Roid em all up for all I care if they want to level the playing field. Baseball was always about the cheating, even in the early 1900's.
no
MVP, four-time All-Star, two of his top comparables based on age are HoF's, and another should be. Yeah, nothing worthy.
Leave it to tweek to make a dumb comment.
I'm so sick of the argument that the Homerun saved baseball. Unless you have access to a parallel universe machine you're just repeating the talking points by people like george will who often talk about baseball with a great deal of hyperbole.
Homerun totals have been down since the PED era ended an it's still around. I'd argue that PEDs hurt the game because it drove salaries to an obscene level because of inflated numbers hindering small market teams.
And archi winning ROY and MVP doesn't equal automatic HOF bid which was what MOW was talking about. But that's ok Braun fits right in with Sosa, bonds and arod as cheaters who will never see Cooperstown.
Sorry if he retired today he ain't getting in
The point of banning PEDs is it gives an unfair disadvantage to people that don't want to die of liver failure at age 52.
Gayle Sayers got in with only 6 seasons. Nigga was boss like that.
Braun probably just ate bananas anyway.

you know what's also down? the nation's interest in baseball unless it's the fucking yankees no one gives a fuck. people only watched last years world series because of how insanely good it started to get (even still many people did not watch that used to watch regularly)
How many people watched the world series the year the Giants won? shit they had a pretty great story behind them too with everything they had to overcome and all the changes they made to the roster throughout the year. lol @ blaming PEDs hindering small market teams and ignoring the real root soft salary cap + luxury tax
