Can't the MLB appeal the appeal? If they can prove that the samples arrived sealed and that the number of hours/temperature can't alter T/E levels, wouldn't they have a case? It's all water under the bridge at this point, but will continue to be a talking point for the rest of his career.

Typically arbitration is binding. Depending on how it's worded in the CBA an appeal would get tossed out immediately.

They've talked big about going to court because they're butthurt that the binding arbitration they agreed to finally didn't work out the way they want it to, but the point of arbitration is to keep it out of courts. They'd have a hell of a time making their case in court that they didn't actually want arbitration this time.

The fact that only 12 people have been suspended so far shows how big of a joke MLB's drug testing is, this is just another piece of that joke.

Homerun totals have been down since the PED era ended an it's still around. I'd argue that PEDs hurt the game because it drove salaries to an obscene level because of inflated numbers hindering small market teams.

And archi winning ROY and MVP doesn't equal automatic HOF bid which was what MOW was talking about. But that's ok Braun fits right in with Sosa,bonds and arod as cheaters who will never see Cooperstown.

you know what's also down? the nation's interest in baseball unless it's the fucking yankees no one gives a fuck. people only watched last years world series because of how insanely good it started to get (even still many people did not watch that used to watch regularly)
