So he has been on a steady ascent apart from a small blip due to a flukish babip. He absolutely raked last year and there is no reason to believe he won't keep getting better.

add in the 159 Ks for last year. I forgot to mention we are doing head2head, which you lose points for Ks. I'm not saying Kemp isn't good, but I don't think he is an appropriate #1.

idk we lose 5pts for losses in pitching too. I guess trying to make it interesting. Anyhow, with Cabrera, Pujols, and Bautista in the top I just found Kemp to be a strange pick. Was funny noone wanted braun until it fell to a guy with autopick on.

Kemp as a first rounder? Yea I can see it? As a #1 though, no. Not nearly as bad as the draft I did many years ago where someone took David Wright #1 over Pujols.

Depending on your league setup, Pujols, Braun, Reyes, Verlander, A-Gon, Bautista can all make cases. The biggest problem with Kemp is if he's not motivated, like he was in 2010, things fall apart. Now that he has security, how is he going to stand up to the adversity of playing for a team in such turmoil right now? I think the only teams worse then the Dodgers right now are the Orioles, Padres, A's, and Mariners. And only reason I put the Dodgers above them is if Kemp repeats 2011 and Kershaw. If Kemp gets unhappy, watch his stats tank.

Just noticed we have a full 12 now in Fantasy, so we should probably look at drafts. Right now Wed Nights are out for me, I got raids that night. Fri/Sat night can be dicey as well with those being my wife's off night from work, but that shit changes every week and I think she can deal with a couple hours while I draft. Weekdays I work till 5:30pm PST so if we draft on a weeknight, I need about 30 min to get home, grab a beer and a snack and get ready.

Oh one change i'd make on settings unless this was already voted on, Lineup changes is set to lock at first game of day. Can we get that changed to by player. Lost track at how many times I went to check my team at 10am and couldn't make changes due to games starting at noon eastern.

Two days after receiving an ultrasound-guided cortisone shot at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan, New York Mets third baseman David Wright returned to camp and pledged to be ready for Opening Day on April 5.

Wright revealed Wednesday that he had a muscle tear toward the left side of his abdomen -- technically, the rectus abdominis muscle. He believed he had a rib cage strain before an MRI exam revealed the true diagnosis.

This year I could see Braun, Kemp, Tulowitzki, MCab, Pujols, even Joey Bats depending on scoring system all going #1.
