That article was largely useless considering the lack of really any explanation of the "experiment" outside of being sure to include large enough numbers to show it had a large enough sample size, and disregards other factors. Not to mention I couldn't find a link to the actual study on the website.

I'm sure a range of IQ might be able to be established but past that it seems unlikely.

Holy shit, you were serious? Intelligence is heavily determined by genetics. No, it's not a topic of much debate. It's not debated at all. Intelligence is hugely dependent on genetics.

And iq tests may not provide universal truths about a person's intelligence, but they can definitely give you a good idea of it. 100 tests of the same person cannot possibly get you 100 different results. At most you'd see maybe a 10 point range, if they were all done within a short period of time. Possibly a bit more if they were done over the course of a decade or more.

I wasn't saying that IQ tests don't quantify some part of intelligence, just not all of it, perhaps not even the majority of it. Also this study looks fucking sketchy at best, I'm on the Straus guy's website and I'm having trouble finding anything about it other than "Hey look I did it.".
