Lol pierce and Timmy are a shell of what they once were. Wade isn't capable of defending 4 positions the way Deng does nor is cp3.

So are you asking about a 2 way player or best defender? Don't overvalue the defense part of being a 2 way player.

I would take Wade and CP3 over Deng if building a 2 way player all star roster.

Shawn Marion.

He can guard 4 positions - between him and Kidd they shut down Kobe, Westbrook, Durant, LeBron, and Wade at different times during the playoffs.

He can score 20+ on the other end if they need him to (like recently with Dirk out) while grabbing 10+ rebounds.
