All homerism aside, we're running with a pretty deep squad.

ANYTHING can happen between now and the playoffs. But as things stand now...I believe that the potential is there.

Few things

1. in your imaginary deep bench shumpert is out of position.

2. J.R. Smith is as streaky a shooter as there is in this game. If you're relying on him for constant instant offense you're in deep shit. Knicks should've waited for Wilson chandler who would have been a better fit for this team.

4. You touted ppp but you neglected to cite the fact that the improvement came when melo and amare were out of the lineup. Your defense sucks bro.


5. You flash lins steal numbers like it means something. I've said it to cail and I've said it to moss when they were trying to tell me Rubio and teague were elite defenders. Steals would mean something if the league played man 2 man defense the entire time but alas it doesn't. All it means is the player plays the passing lanes very well.

I think under the right circumstances, we can go 7 with the bulls and steal a game or two on the road.

The Heat beat the bulls by throwing Lebron on Rose. They can't do that against us unless they want to stick Battier on Melo for 30 minutes. I don't see us winning 4 against the Heat but I can see knicks going 6 games against them in the EC finals which is pretty deep in the playoffs if you ask me.

Also, you don't win championships with a defense like the Knicks. Go back in recent history and find a team that won in the Finals with a defense ranked under #10. As good as Chandler is, he can't cover for 4 people.
