Note that my only homer pick was the late pick on the waterbug, I picked Horford and Joe just because they fell to me. Johnson, Horford, JRich, Brand, etc. are all pretty boring/unsexy picks but I am pretty happy with my squad. In the past I drafted more high-upside guys but half of them either suck or don't get any minutes and you end up dropping them outright, completely wasting those picks. I don't really see anybody except for my late rounders having a chance of failing.

Clippers should make the playoffs but unless Kobes knees explode the Lakers should still be better. Trade should put the Clippers in the 45ish wins area (in a normal year)...so.. 36 wins this year? Its easy to forget with how exciting a player Giffin is to watch just how bad the Clippers have been.. forever.

jamal Crawford to the blazers

Free agent Jamal Crawford has agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal to play for the Portland Trail Blazers, sources said. Crawford will have a player option for his second year.

Crawford announced his choice on his Twitter page, posting "Rip city!!!"

Crawford chose Portland over Sacramento, which was offering a two-year deal worth $6.5 million per season, and New York, which offered $5 million over two years, sources said.

The deal had yet to be formally signed. Crawford's agent, Aaron Goodwin, could not immediately be reached for comment Thursday.

An 11-year veteran, Crawford played for the Atlanta Hawks the last two seasons. For his career, he has averaged 15.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.9 assists. He won the NBA's Sixth Man award in 2010.
