I'm guessing he took those shots because that was what the other team was willing to give up. He has to make them pay for doubling. It's why Rondo gets open looks, teams used to do that to Parker until he started dropping teardrops and hitting his jump shots.

The problem was they weren't high percentage shots. They were just inside the 3 point line and they were contested they weren't wide open looks.

Did you watch the game? Norris Cole is a slasher. The majority of his shots were made close to the basket. He only hit that jumper to ice the game because he was wide fucking open. I understand you're not used to seeing something like that, but 20 points (especially 12 4th quarter) points off the bench is a fucking god send. I'm sure Wade and Lebron aren't complaining.

Westbrook can do no wrong. He doesn't cause unnecessary drama at the end of games by forcing shots and careless turnovers.

I didn't say that. But I'm saying its not all his fault, part of it is the system that gets absolutely predictable in the half-court at the end of the game, and doesn't run an offense to get others open. If you think that is the fault of a point guard you don't know basketball.

so i jsut checked out the fantasycast for the first time and i gotta say, its pretty awesome. I love how when you click on a game, it shows underneath the player's pick what fantasy team theyre on. Also, for each game shows how many each of your team and the team your playing has etc
