If you ever hear the Hawks guys let me know what you think. It's Nique and some other guy but I think they do a pretty decent job.

i like nique. a year or two ago deandre jordan had this sick ass turnaround slam and nique loved it. also i think ralph lawler is the team best play-by-play announcer in the league but that might just be me being a homer. their crew is about as unbiased as you'll find these days which i appreciate a lot.

Eh the Kings announcers used to be pretty bad back when the team was good, but last few years they been ok. The Clippers ones make me cringe, got them and Lakers games when I moved to Hawaii.

Edit: I remembered a game a few years ago when the Lakers had Kwame. I guess he was having a decent start or something, and the announcers started talking about him being a "perfect player" or some such nonsense. LOL. Lakers missed playoffs that year

can someone explain to moss how home city announcers are p much expected to be homers? I'd hate to listen to what hawks color/pbp guys are like otherwise considering the talent night in and night out is better on the other team.

Normally I watch games muted but for some reason tonight the volume was up nice and loud for the Bulls/Clip game and I can't agree more at how awful the WGN announcers are. The one sided commentary ruined the game for me. I understand being biased but they treated the Clippers like D-League talent and the Bulls like the greatest team ever. Oh and the refs were giving Clips every chance to stay in the game as well.

Those were not exaggerations. Those were word for word what they said as best as I can remember. I expect bias, but shit gets fucking annoying when it doesn't have any semblance of objectivity. That's great that he can come up with catch phrases, but when you are reduced to a pathetic "HAHA too bad you guys LOST!" comment like the one he made at the end with the Jordan alley-oop, it just sounds immature and unprofessional.

It would be one thing if I was a Bulls hater, but I'm not. I also mentioned earlier that I would be curious to hear what an outsider thinks about the Hawks announcers because personally I think they are pretty bearable.
