    Last week
    Pick: 11-2
    ATS: 7-6

    Overall
    Pick: 78-38
    ATS: 52-60-4

    SUN, NOV 6

    Seattle at Dallas (-11.5) -
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y36...lolcowboys.jpg
    Cowboys win and cover.

    Atlanta at Indianapolis (+7) -
    http://i54.tinypic.com/c1fy8.gif
    Falcons win and cover.

NY Jets at Buffalo (-1) - This should be a good one. The Jets are coming off a bye, while Buffalo is essentially coming off a bye after scrimmaging the Redskins' B-team last week. I am not shocked whatsoever that the Jets rank near the bottom of the league in rushing, Shonn Greene is terrible and yet somehow still a high pick in every fantasy draft. But what is shocking is Mark Sanchez hasn't been terrible (yet) and had three straight solid games before the bye. Buffalo isn't exactly known for locking down the passing game, so I expect a couple TDs for Santonio and/or Plaxico. For the Bills, they'll do well to feed Fred Jackson all day. I see both teams scoring in the 20s, and I hope I'm wrong because I really like Buffalo, but I'll take the Jets on the road.

Cleveland at Houston (-10.5) - Andre Johnson isn't playing because he's scared of Joe Haden. Fact. But no HILLIS, so the situation looks bleak for the Brownies. Without the ground game, Cleveland will have to pass. Without Andre, Houston will have to run. Which of these prospects sounds better? Texans win and cover.

San Francisco at Washington (+3.5) - Remember when the Redskins were 3-1 heading into their bye week? Neither does Mike Shanahan. He's talking about getting "back to the basics and that's good practices." I think Allen Iverson would disagree with you there, champ. On the other side of the field, Jim Harbaugh is a boss. Key to winning in a shit division -- keep the ball out of your terrible quarterback's hands. Today I read on Grant Paulsen's feed that the 49ers attempt the fewest passes per game in the league (26) and are 31st in passing yards per game (171). More of the same this week, as Gore has gotten hot and Washington's run defense is poor. 49ers win and cover.

Tampa Bay at New Orleans (-8.5) - Every year it seems like the Browns have a top pick, and with two Alabama players in the top ten of last year's draft, I desperately wanted one of them. Alas, Cleveland traded down, which put them in a perfect spot to draft Mark Ingram. When they didn't, I wasn't that broken up about it. He's a bell-cow back for a heavy workload running game, but his skill set doesn't exactly translate to the NFL. In the Saints system, he seems lost, as he probably would be in the Browns new West Coast offense. And this season, more often than not, he's been dinged up. I say this because New Orleans will be mad about last week's performance, and I fully expect to take out their frustrations on Tampa, and I don't have any other rationale than you don't make good teams mad. Saints win and cover.

Miami at Kansas City (-4) - This seems like a trap line to me. After gutting out a win against the Chargers on national television, I figured the Chiefs would be picking up some bandwagon momentum, while the bandwagon for the Dolphins is on cinder blocks in the front yard. Also, Randy Starks washes himself with a rag on a stick. Daniel Thomas has a hammy, and Marshall has a one-way ticket to Flowers Island, leaving the Matt Moore-led Miami offense without much punch. I hope the balance Kansas City found remains, Battle's a fun guy to watch with the football. Trap line? Fuck it. Chiefs win and cover.

Cincinnati at Tennessee (-2) - I swear to God if I read you assholes talk about the Christmas Connection any more, I'm going to get your IPs from a mod and hunt you all down. That's for Heady only, fuckers. Bengals in the upset.

    Denver at Oakland (-7.5) -
    http://cdn2.sbnation.com/imported_as...wed_medium.gif
    Raiders win, Broncos cover.

NY Giants at New England (-9) - Another weird line to me. Maybe the uncertainty for Nicks and Bradshaw has something to do with it. Last week was rough for both teams, New England getting Roethlisberger'd like a co-ed in a bathroom, and the G-men eking out a win over hapless Miami. Still, Belichick doesn't lose back-to-back games very often, so I expect New England to have a little more get-up-and-go here. I guess I should be more excited about this one, but the Super Bowl rematch thing doesn't captivate me at all, and I feel like neither team is firing on all cylinders right now. The make matters worse, Joe Buck. Patriots win, Giants cover.

St. Louis at Arizona (-1.5) - Last week I glossed over Arizona (for good reason) but they have a shot at losing out. After this they're on the road for three straight, and their best shots at their 2nd win are week 15 vs. Cleveland and week 17 vs. Seattle. I do think Indy and Miami will get at least one win at some point, so Luck to the desert? It could happen. Steven Jackson had a little spring to his step last week, and if Bradford and/or Feeley can develop a rapport with Lloyd, they'll steal some games. Rams win on the road.

Green Bay at San Diego (+6) - Aaron Rodgers against Tiny Hands? Packers win and cover.

Baltimore at Pittsburgh (-3) - Last week the Patriots sacked Big Ben five times, but he shrugged that off to throw for 365 yards. And while it's bad news for Mendenhall owners, it seems like Pittsburgh is finally doing the things it wants to offensively. You know how Baltimore came back last week? Take the ball out of Flacco's hands in the red zone. Ray-Ray had three touchdown runs of three yards or less in the 2nd half. Pittsburgh's got some injuries on defense, particularly in the linebacking corps, so maybe they can establish the ground game again. Al, tell us what you think of this match-up:
Thanks, Al. This will be razor-thin I think, so I'm taking Steelers to win, Ravens to cover.

    Chicago at Philadelphia (-8) -

Mike, I'm excited! This is NFC football at its finest. They don't play often, but these two teams are mean and tough and I'll tell you what, they just flat out don't like each other. They don't! And when you get two big, tough teams, two teams with speed on defense like this, two defenses flying around the field, I look at who can settle down the tempo and move the football. And it all starts with the coaches. Andy Reid and Lovie Smith, two of the best, here tonight, I can't wait to see how they attack -- key word here, Jaws, attack! -- these defenses. Because if you sit back on your heels, these guys will come up and hit you in the mouth. All night long. They will! First of all, the Bears, I love what they do, they get their running back, Matthew Forte, they get him the ball in all situations. You look at the numbers, they'll tell ya, this guy leads the National Football League in yards from scrimmage. That tells you, what they do, that tells you that they're going to get him the football. I love that he gives quarterback Jay Cutler, such a smart, heady quarterback, it gives him such a security blanket -- you know he'll be there, just hit him in the flat or on a quick release out of the backfield, he'll be there! What a tremendous weapon Matt Forte is-

*realizing I can't take it, I decide to huff Sharpies until I can't hear him anymore*

    *I regain consciousness*

-when I talked to him in the truck, Jaws, you could tell he's all the way back. You know, he's had his problems in the past, but right here, right now, Mike Vick is back. He knows he's been given a second chance and he's made the most of it. What an engaging guy to talk to. He gets it. And now, to come all the way back, to be one of the elite quarterbacks in the National Football League, he's here to stay. He's got the same moves he had coming out of Virginia Tech, sure, we saw it on film, but what's different is the attitude. The demeanor. It's so important for a quarterback in this league to lead his football team. And that's just what he's doing. And in his bag of tricks he'll make exceptional play after exceptional play that nobody else on this planet can make. You just scratch your head! You're left thinking how in the heck did he just do that. And the worst part is, if you're trying to stop him on defense, you have to line up and try it again! What a player Mike Vick is. I've gotta tell you, Jaws, I'm impressed!

    Eagles win, Bears cover.
