They are delicious! I usually get a box and take the rest with me. Actually American bread is pretty nice in general. Ken's grandmother makes delicious corn bread.

they make like every flavor cheesecake under the sun and it's soooo delicious. I love their shepard's pie too (has meat though), most of their food is good, but you really go there for the cake.

Definitely something to go to before you leave.

I haven't eaten meat in a long time. About once a year I get the urge to eat Prosciutto for some reason, so I get some, eat it, get sick and don't do it for a year or so again. Other than that, I generally find it gross.

What I mean to say is...I'll give you some meat....

There is one very near my class, we go there sometimes for dinner after class, since it's the only place around that's still serves food that late. I haven't tried the cheesecakes though, however their tuna carpaccio is delicious. I still like the Outback Ahi tuna with sweet potato fries more though, but that's mostly because anything with sweet potato fries is superior.

How is the Key Lime Pie at Red Lobster? I've been meaning to try it, but I always end up eating too much.

believe it or not, I have tried this. only once though as I do tend to eat a lot as well (damn those biscuits). It is yummy yummy. Definitely worth it.

Outback is good too, though I'm a huge fan of TGIFs when it comes to that style of restaurant. Only because I fucking love their potato skins and their Jack Daniel's menu.

They used to have this fried mac n' cheese appetizer that was fucking awesome too, but they got rid of it ;_;

I still gotta learn how to make those.

I gotta get a deep fat fryer though.

I feel like out of the loop 'cause when I lived in CT there was like NO sushi places. As is, when I came to cali I found out things that I ate at Chinese restaurants in CT were actually Japanese food (since there was no Japanese restaurants I guess the Chinese people threw stuff in).

IF you've never had hot pot before and can find a Japanese Shabu Shabu place DO IT. you'll probably have to rely on your friend to see if he knows/can find one. You basically have a pot with a mixed broth (you do it yourself with their sauces, they can do it for you too if you're unsure what to do), and order thinly sliced meats (beef, pork, fish) that come with a bunch of vegetables and noodles. You throw the meat and vegetables in bit by bit, and take them out once their cooked to dip them in these awesome sauces then eat them with rice. Once you get to the noodles you throw them in and eat it like a soup. since the broth has been stewing with all the meat/veggies over time it's got a delicious flavor. It's amazing.

I can't remember the name but the lighter brown sauce (darker is soy sauce) is delicious and my fav for dipping.
