iphone not playing songs right

So when I use my iphone to play songs, it starts the songs about 5-10 seconds in, then after about 30 seconds of playing, it resets the song to the very beginning.

Is my phone fucked?

Sounds like the scan option on some CD players, plays first couple of seconds of song then goes to next one, I presume to passively look for a song (which the initial skip might expedite), is that enabled? If iphones even have it?

did you recently make a ringtone of said song and forgot to remove the shortened clip and set the original back to it's unclipped time?
