Who was covering what up? Yes the new report states Iran is developing nuclear weapons. No one with nukes uses them unless they want to be destroyed. The Iranian regime wants to maintain it's own power. Do you honestly think they will nuke anyone - let alone Israel? Not to mention they will kill the Palestinians in the process. There is absolutely nothing to gain.

Pakistan has nukes and is far more unstable.

It's not a lie. The NIE report said the programme stopped in 2003. This report says that after 2003 there appears to have been a structured programme since then. It does not elaborate much.

That being said, Iran wouldn't use them ever, because they would get the entire world against them. What's the point of dropping a bomb on Israel to "win", if the end-result is your entire turning uninhabitable? It's more than just a suicide wish. Nuclear weapons are for threats - not for use.
