I think that the midnight openings are going to be bad tactic. See the thing about Black Friday is that everyone goes out at like 10pm the night before waits in line at whatever tell 4 am then they power through the rest of the morning and the late people will show up in the afternoon to try and get whatever deals are left. However, with a midnight openings there is going to be a dead zone from about 2 or 3 am tell about 7 or 8 when people that didn't want to go out early wake up. Or at least that's what I think will happen. Maybe the trickle of stores opening at 4 am or so will be able to keep the people out but going from 12 am to about 9 or so to try and get to all of the stores is not something most people will ever want to do.

Also worst place to work for the holidays... Garden Ridge, I worked there last year had to work 10 hours on Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, that Saturday and Sunday. I was also working at Gamestop at the time as well so I was at the mall from 4am tell about 11pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday
