Maybe you need to watch a few shoujo to see it, but it was pretty easy to tell Chihayafuru was shoujo.
Also, loved Danshi Koukousei. Didn't think it would be quite that funny, but my standards were super low going into it.

Technically, it would be josei, not shoujo. Same difference tho.
It's generally easy to tell the targeted demographics by looking at the cast. If you have a silly girl surrounded by guys who are good at everything they do, then you're watchiing a shojo. Shonen don't get characters like Taichi and Arata.
I think Danshi is funny to me because I could sit back and look at all of the jokes, and say "yeah, I could see this happening" in a real scenario.
This is pretty much dead on how high school guys would act at an all boys school, the no homo stuff included.
well watched some 6min clip? on youtube subbed of Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou, was pretty good, the girl was interesting in a strange way too, man... I got so many anime's in one folder aaahhhh
When I first watched the episode, I had no idea why she was making so many bizarre faces during the scene (assuming we're both talking about the literature girl, lol). At one point, I thought the show was going to take a bizarre twist and have her have to go pee or something, but the end really cleared that up haha, and when I watched it again, it made all her expressions all the more entertaining for me
i thought that part was too drawn out, but it could be a lot worse
I'm gonna fucking love Another I think, judging how I love to analyze and overanalyze anime. Already wrote up a piece on it this week but since I don't post these until Sunday, I want to post it here and see what people think about it:
Another (Episode 1) – After receiving some interesting feedback and comments on Another and studying people’s thoughts and impressions, I’ve decided to reanalyze the episode to see if I misinterpreted or, more accurately, misjudged the horror elements employed in the first episode. Currently, I believe I missed a lot of foreshadows, subtle hints, and even the first death of the series. The opening sequence shows various clips like a body hanging, a splash in the river, a speeding car’s tires, glass shattering on the sidewalk, and a crashing chandelier among other imagery which I believe are foreshadows of student deaths that will soon occur. I also believe the series is trying to hint that the dolls are actually students although I’m not sure since all the dolls we’ve seen are female so far. And if that turns out to be true in the end, then we probably already had the first death of the series with Izumi Akazawa. Her shaking Kouichi’s hand drew a surprised almost ghastly reaction from Yukari and Kazami, almost like something went horrifically wrong. Follow that up with Misaki taking the nude doll to the morgue, Izumi being absent in school the next day, and Kazami quickly changing the subject when Kouichi questions her presence. Strange, isn’t it? But then I could be also reading too much into everything since she is in the ending sequence. Who knows then at this point? Also strange to note that Yukari sprained her ankle so quickly, especially when she had normal socks and shoes on in the classroom that morning. Should be fun to slowly dissect these mysteries and figure out what exactly is going on with Another. I might fall in love with analyzing this anime every week.
Shiki vibe?

Ono Fukyumi (original creator of Shiki) is married to Ayatusji Yukito (original creator of Another). It seems so right.![]()

Going to have to watch the movie for the hell of it... also... CC as a catgirl *drool*
randomly.. first thing i thought seeing the last girl pic for Haiyore Nyaruko-san... is mashu from C anime
Holy shit, Zetman, I hope it isn't censored, its kinda dark.
Why does that last girl look like the protagonists's soul from C?
Mashu > w/e the heck that girl is.
Also, is it me or something doesnt look right with these CG spin-off? It just feel like they are milking the franchise rather than adding something worthwhile to it.
At least the story will match CLAMPS campy art style.
Nunnally in Wonderland doesn't look like a full OVA project. From the preview it looks more like a Visual Novel presentation than a fully-animated work. There are anime scenes but by and large it's just VO behind largely still artwork.
Oh CLAMP, can you ever stop sticking your hands into Wonderland? They've fisted it so many times by now I think it's stretched too thin.
Wait..what? CLAMP have their words to say in Code Geass? I thought all they did was the character designs.
