Winter 2011/2012 Anime thread

I'm sorry, 3 seasons for them to kiss was bullshit lol. Not taking anything back, pacing was god awful. And it didn't help that the piano teacher sounded just like Zoro so I was expecting him at points to yell ONIGIRI or ASHURA.

Weren't they already in a relationship around the end of season 2 and all of season 3? Been a while since I watched it, but I mostly liked the music (AND CG FINGERS). The relationships were nice and solid too, but again it's been a while.

I have nothing but good memories of Nodame, though it's been a while so I can't really review it.

Honestly, more than the anime version, I like the drama version. It's funnier, the actors are good at making the characters quirky and overall it's just better than the anime. I haven't read the manga so I can't say how that is comparatively (though I would like to). If anyone wants to give Nodame a 2nd chance or liked it the first time, should watch the drama version. Live action is much better suited to the material imo anyway.

Ah. Yeah if the live action is much much better, I'll give it a watch. I enjoyed the Death Note live action, it was pretty good.

I had a moment, so I took today to check Nisemonogatari, Moretsu Space Pirates, Inu X Boku SS, Highschool DxD, and Brave 10.

Brave 10 is probably good, but I'm just not too interested in it. Between Katanagatari and DenYuuDen, that itch is scratched pretty well already.

I couldn't watch HSDxD. As usual I won't watch it censored, and the only decent subs are waiting on blu-ray/HD only, which my PC can't handle. I haven't seen an oppai anime in so long Q Q. Hakka Ryouran, Freezing, etc. all waiting until I can get new hardware.

Moretsu is great, the first few episodes are exactly what I was hoping Rinne no Lagrange would be, so, glad to have it even if it wasn't where expected.

Nisemonogatari, YES.

My dowsing of the season-sphere and hype-space tipped me off to Inu x Boku. It was amusing enough at first, then came WHAT A TWEEST and that got my attention. This could be good.

It was definitively better than last two episodes, but I want something much darker than this. It's still hard to take them seriously when the script isn't good enough to deliver genuinely emotional scenes (the plot device stick out way too much)

Hibiki completely ruins Symphogear for me, I absolutely cannot stand her at all. The show would be so much better without her being the focal point (or even with her completely gone).

Anyone else feel the same?
