Nisemonogatari Ep 4 Lolicon Shinobu Overload

Beside the awkward bath scene that was Great stuff. I wasn't sure what way the episode would go, but I think that handled things very well. It brought everything full circle in a nice way and just allowed the characters to showcase what made the series great. This is one I really wish were two-cour, because there seems to be a lot of story to be told here, and I have full faith and confidence in the staff telling it.

The whole genre of ecchi is built upon the premise of the inability of the author/studio to write a dialogue/storyboard/character worth shit and just draw tits and risque pose to make it up.

So if all ecchi were like Nisemonogatari, it wouldn't be a genre to begin with.

Thought the bath scene was pretty well done and really excited to start seeing the story between Araragi and Shinobu unfold. Can't wait for the Kizumonogatari movie.

Started watching Hiadamari Sketch and it's really relaxing...

Hidamari sketch is just boring. I loved a few skits, I liked both character who Yuno/miyako, but the rest were dull.

KMB: I know most of you hate the show, but I loved this episode. The doppleganger trio cracked me up, and there was a few other good skits.

Last exile 2: Why is Fam immune to everything bad? It's hard to feel empathy for the crew when everything always turn out for the best against them....I want to see them struggle and eventually win, not win at everything. The show as a whole is a huge letdown. I can occasionally enjoy specific things, but the story is just bad compared to LE1.

Moretsu Pirate: I thought it was a fun episode. I still hope thing will get a little more serious eventually tho

Symphogears: Better than 2nd and 3rd episode, but the dialogue are still ridiculous.

Rinne no Lagrange: I wish they hadn't gone back to school already...totally knew it was coming. The show is still solid for now however, and Lan is awesome (boat and waitress scenes)

Zero No Tsukaima: The expression "broken record" couldn't describe the show better. I've never seen a series rehash the same jokes so many times. Flat/large breasts joke --> Louise get mad and run away --> Louise is kidnapped (optional) --> They make up near the end of the episode --> repeat. This show makes everything else look great this.

Nisemonogatari: I was worried the FBI would knock at my door the whole time...and I live in canada.

Persona 4: Persona is always good, but I want to see the endgame now! I'm getting impatient.

Therma Romae: Final episode was the best, I loved it. Kinda sad it's gone now, but hopefully, Black Rock Shooter will be semi decent.

Guilty Crown: Same as always. While it's not really worse than anything else I'm watching this season, it always feel like wasted potential. The story could be so much better if they were trying.

You'd be lying if you say you didn't enjoy Maaya Sakamoto's voice on Holo's style of archaic speech though

And in all honesty, she doesn't even do anything too risque beside...not wearing clothes

I think I felt worse watching Bund's opening than the entire bath scene in this episode.

That scene couldn't be sexual anyway, none of them seem to possess genitals.

As much as I like Horo, I don't really cared about voice acting. Unless people tell me beforehand, I rarely notices that kind of stuff. I did love the dialogue like always, but when is it ever bad in that show?

And yeah, Bund was 10 time worse. It doesn't help that the actual dialogues and plot were retarded. There was literally nothing good about it.

Despite getting in arguments with Kaylia daily, those are my exact thoughts on the anime this week. Where I'm different:

Another: It's starting to cool on me, even with the death in the last episode, but the story hasn't really caught my attention and there are some pacing issues. It's low on my list.

BRAVE10: TAKEHITO KOYASU IS HERE FUCK YEAH! Story is about the same, I'm liking all the characters more, and the fights are pretty meh. It's not what I had hoped but I'm enjoying the cast way more than I anticipated and overall, am enjoying the anime.

Chihayafuru: Not happy it had a recap episode but am excited to see where they go from here. Should be exciting.

Daily Lives of High School Boys: This anime has cooled on me, too, but it's still hilarious and enjoyable... I just don't enjoy it as much as everyone else. Hell, I thought the latest KMB episode was funnier than the lasted High School Boys one (didn't think I'd say that after each of their first episodes but they're trending in different directions now).

Nisemonogatari: I really enjoyed the dynamic between the 3 siblings and I am dying to see them together more. Hanekawa is looking FINE with short hair and with a more social personality and Shinobu, when she talks, is actually a really good character. Happy to see how she thinks and what she acts and all that jazz. Hope to see more of her soon. Kinda wonder what clothes she'll wear when she does wear them.

Also, really am enjoying the entire cast in Lagrange and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes from here. Probably my 2nd favorite new anime of the season at this point (although that can change quickly). Mouretsu Pirates has been great despite the piracy so look out when it finally starts happening. Also, Takehito Koyasu is back in Mirai Nikki this week, so I'm happy x2.

And that's about it... for this week. =P

Kinda wish it still continued but that’s all that was planned for now (besides the live-action movie coming out in April and the ongoing manga).

Wow, I'm all over that. Well, except for the piss-poor casting choice for Lucius. I guess Japan is just as xenophobic in using foreign faces for their leads as the US is.

I imagine if Gulk is making a point to mention it the amount must be abnormal, even for Japan.
