This episode was fucking amazing. Mysteries are back in full force (lot of mindfuck/misleading stuff), and seeing Kou and Mei spend time together was more interesting than generic horror movie deaths. In retrospect, maybe I just liked this episode because Mei had lot of screentime, but I think it was good.

Gintama.. man. It's a comedy, but the action arcs are better than anything in the big 3, at least in my opinion.

245 and 246 have been amazing.

I loved this episode as well. I've been growing to like the show more each week and now that things have finally progressed past the stupid "WHAT'S GOING ON?" part, it's a lot easier to deal with.

Dancing part blew my mind. I kinda wished it was real.

Enjoyed pretty much everything this week, especially Mouretsu Pirates and Persona 4. Both shows are fucking awesome.

Also, Another 6, that dancing scene was great. Was really a nice episode considering how it finally took the time to explain certain things, have Kou ask questions, and show Mei and Kou bond a bit.

Oh, and Last Exile: Fam 17 isn't subbed yet but HOLY FUCKING SHIT THIS IS THE BEST EPISODE IN THE FUCKING SERIES! You'll see what I'm talking about when you watch it but holy shit is it amazing, easily my favorite in LE:F.

I'm surprised no one talks about Bakuman on these threads, It's such a fresh concept and it has some nice drama moments meshed in as an added bonus. Show keeps getting better and better with each episode.

My only nitpick with Bakuman is more of a personal one, which is sometimes the lack of depth when it comes to the romantic elements of the show, meaning there really isn't much to begin with.

Bakuman joins a tradition of niche-appeal manga that hooks readers early on with the 'I'm doing it for the GIRL' in the arcs that launch the book, then drop it when it can reveal the authorial intent of 'I'm doing it for the LOVE OF COOKING/SPORTS/MANGA/FIGHTING!' with a stable readership invested in the characters. See also: Negima!, Slam Dunk, etc.

So if Bakuman drops the romance ball every now and then, it's probably because the romance is not the center of gravity for the book. I've read...the first six or so chapters and a smattering of the last few weeks just to see what folks were getting up in arms about and concluded this. I could be wrong. But it does fit the pattern given the evidence I've seen.

Yes it has gotten better, it still hasn't quite gotten to the level of the original though. It just takes a little while to get there...

Not really. Everytime I get my hope up because Dio is doing something awesome for 30 seconds (or another old character), we get 3 episodes of Fam being retarded. The show is watchable at best, but as a Last Exile series, it's offending.

This episode made me realize [again] how much I love the cast. I remember thinking they where too "gimmicky" when we first met them, but god, I was wrong. All of them are freaking amazing. That scene between Taichi and Nishida after the match almost made me cry, it was just perfect. Same deal with Kana and Tsutomu.

Maybe anime in general lowered my expectation when it came to basic human relationship, but every time I see characters listening to each other, and not overreacting at the slightest bullshit, it makes me extremely happy.

Yeah, Chihaya was great this week. I dunno who I was rooting for, because I like all the characters and wanted them to win, but their matches were tense and awesome. Goddamn I love this show.

I just saw Another 6 and that moment, LOL. I did not expect that one bit. I think the sudden shift in the mood was what made it that much more hilarious.
