Is there an overall plot for nichibros? Or is it similar to nichijou. If it is I might as well watch it before it finishes since marathoning shows with no plot doesn't really add anything.

It's a different kind of humor if you ask me, but it has enough decent skits to be worthwhile.

Another 10 was good as usual. Somehow I thought this was going to be 24 episodes so I was surprised to see they're getting straight into that shit. Next two episodes should be good.

But I can't help but wonder why Misaki didn't just... you know, identify the other. I get that she was scared but it still seems really stupid to just ignore it.

I do like the relationship between Misaki and Sakikabara, certainly not what I expected judging from Misaki's look.

I like how none of them made it to the final. It might be anticlimactic, but it's definitively refreshing to see that kind of outcome.

I can actually say that I strongly disliked one of the opponents for once. The former Queen, I just can't stand her at all. Her attitude, her judgement on her opponents, and worst of all (despite never having played Karuta, and probably never will) her play style. The first character in what? 22 episodes that I've actually disliked? Pretty good haha

I kinda felt bad for her last week, I thought she deserved the win.

Also, if what Avvesionne told me is true (after looking frame by frame at the scene), she was right every times she contested the cards. I can't really blame her for her aggressive style if she wasn't lying.

I can't argue if she was right on her calls, but I just don't enjoy the tactic of it. It really got unnerving, which if it actually bothered me that much as a viewer, it just helped show how much it threw Chihaya off her game. So kudos to the writers for that

What I like about it is that the players are constantly growing and evolving. They don't stagnate and their passion for Karuta really shows. It isn't an easy/shounen-esque road to Master and Queen finale, the show is saying it takes a lot of hard work and it isn't about AMAZING TALENT or special abilities.

I took a break on staying up to date on anime but decided to catch up on Chihayafuru and some others. Chihaya is still my favorite of the season.

Chihaya calling Arata and not Taichi on Christmas eve made me rage. Taichi is such a bro. I'll be mad if they leave the romance aspect up in the air. Sometimes I just want to punch Arata in the face.

Yeah, Chihaya is still really good, if it wasn't for Bakuman, Chihaya would be my top pick as well.

Towa no Quon Ep 1-6

Was this supposed to be a 12-episode series that got distributed as movies in order to gain more profit? There is like no chemistry between the characters, mostly due to the poor performance of the Voice cast, also doesn't help when the direction is low-energy and disjointed. a shame this could have easily been a great series with a better script and direction.

Anyway, as expect from Studio Bones The art style and character animation is quite attractive, and the choreography/direction for a few of the fights was amazing, especially the final one.
