I guess I'm the only one who likes how the authority was introduced in the episode and how awesome they appear to be? I'm not excited for Sam, Alcide, Jason, or Tara's story, but the main shit is really making me want to watch.

The Authority just came off as just more characters I could give a fuck about, but I'll continue to watch just because of Christopher Meloni. Mostly I just want to see what Russel will be plotting for vengeance, but it already feels like the writers are going to lose sight of where this convoluted mess is suppose to go.

I'm just taking it for what it is at this point: Raunchy vampire sex and blood. Really don't see how they can do much unless they start killing off important characters, make Sookie fucking pick somebody already, or just replay that Jessica/Jason sex scene on a loop for 54 minutes every Sunday.

Could really do without the Arlene/Terry storyline. And I bet if you go back to last years thread I probably said the exact same thing.

I honestly feel like the only likeable character, even last season, is Jessica. I get that these people have overembellished personalities and, in many cases, a level of intellegence that makes Paris Hilton look like Albert Einstein, but its getting annoying. You can only stand characters as random and irrational as these for so long.

Feel the same way. They have deviated from the source material beyond repair and its just confusing. I like the way in which they put Eric and Bill on ice for the start of the season, but I don't like all the side-stories. I'm also not a fan of what they have done to Pam's backstory :-/
