Lol. It's just a joke. Wesker with x factor level 3 does ridiculous damage so the running joke is that he's like Dark Phoenix.

They're calling him Dark Wesker because hes just mad strong with Lv3 XFactor plus he gets a buff when he loses his shades (can do maximum wesker to drop them).

They been calling him Dark Wesker for a while. JWong coined the term when he started using him in Vanilla. Now that there's no more Dark Phoenix trolling, Wesker gets put on blast for full effect.

There are definitely too many teams with Wesker now... Don't think it was this bad in vanilla with Wolverine or Sentinel or Phoenix.

Wolverine needs assists to function and Sentinel gets raped by alot of the cast, so they were never that bad. And Phoenix you had to build your whole fucking team around.

Wesker brings in the godlike assist and the best anchor character in the game, there's pretty much no reason not to use him if you're seriously trying to win.
