Hardly. His effectiveness in courtroom mode would still be based on which pieces of evidence he actually gets and getting into turnabout without a TAC still requires him to land a hit with the worst normals in the game. If you're using TACs to get him into turnabout then not only are you taking the 33%~ chance of dropping the combo entirely, you're spending X amount of meter getting him in/out safely before and after the fact.

Wright needs a whole lot more than faster evidence to become anywhere near OP.

And even that's disregarding how strong he actually is when in Turnabout mode. It's something UltraDavid was talking about a while ago and I sort of agree with - right now I'm still not really that scared of him even when he's fully powered up. He still doesn't seem that strong to me on point (given how much work it takes to get him there), and that's a fucking ton of work if all you want is him as assist.

I'll need to see a lot more work put on him on point atm before I really consider him a threat, let alone think he's OP.

Those rates are expensive? 10 flat for a day? That's insanely cheap compared to most places I have seen. Heck, I used to frequent a 3/hr place a few years back and this place is 2.50 an hour after the first.

Guess I'm biased though, I spend more than that at the arcade if I am with friends.

The arcade I sometimes go to for SF is like 50 cents a play, and usually I get like 2-3 fights out of it, or sometimes one if I get raped. Really dependent on who is there

There were some pretty good games, worth checking out. Viscant's on commentary for most of it, if you were wondering where he's been since ultimate came out, and has some input on various new characters / strategies.

Also worth watching for Dios X (especially for me since we play the same team...I'm definitely stealing some of his stuff lol).

gotta use ps3 pad for zero so im somewhat limited with him. his qcb+L teleport and his QCF+L fakeout aren't that important, but using his DP+L is what hurts. holding a button is so dumb to charge. they should have made it atk+S to charge and atk+S to fire

i dont feel like zero viper or viper vergil teams will work well. they both kind of fill that point slot on the team, glass cannons. Could be wrong though

zero viper is good for 2 meter kills because viper comes in and has a 600k from no meter setup, zero gets to heal. also got 2 unblockable setups because of the nova+viper synergy. tight timing

ground bounce for viper from nova. it's not ideal but its a solid team. viper <3s beams though. vergil has a pretty nice assist for viper and doom makes them both way safer (missiles).

most of those teams are meant for experimenting with 2 meter DHCs, but zero nova strange is looking like the most solid atm.

I like the Zero, Viper, Nova set.

Zero can pretty much be a glass cannon on point and build crazy meter for Viper or Nova.

ya, but fuckin...dr strange though dude. bolts of balthakk + zero is nuts. its amazing for getting in, leads to a potential unblockable setup if i buy a sougenmu and i can also use it to keep combos going. you have to hit the buster before the 2nd shot lands after a scoop, but basically after you ground them with j. S you can do your qcf+H -> buster -> L raikousen in the same order and still get both shots of balthakk without them dropping out and relaunch

not to mention it stays on the screen for like 10 yrs. and dr strange can kill anyone anywhere on the screen with vishanti punish -> xfc teleport. nova + strange is decent but i have to rework some of my air combos but this team is day 1 atm

ive spent so much time w/viper though that i feel compelled to run her cause fuck damn if those hrs are going to waste

cr.L st.M st.H impact palm is the blockstring I've been using. That gives you the least pushback/most time to confirm before the palm but st.H whiffs on some characters crouching so you either give up the crumple and use cr.H or skip the H entirely.

Just cancel into M mystic sword on block/pushblock. Never ever do a launcher if you're not 100% it's going to hit. It's so bad.

Haha, nothing wrong with letting Viper stick to the sidelines while you work on other shit -- That's what I'm doing for Shuma-Gorath atm.

Surprised I've never seen that Dr. Strange/Zero synergy before. Even if they try to duck balthakk on reaction, it gives you yet another way in unless they are extremely fast with chicken blocking or anti-air. I have a feeling you might end up with Zero/Viper/Strange, since that too works well if you are good with Viper. I'd like to hear Sumiko's opinion, since she's a Zero main. @_@
