Youtube keeps giving me this message and I upgrade and on firefox, I still can't watch any videos and get the same message.

However, on Chrome and IE, I never got this message to begin with and it still worked before I ever updated it at all and still works now.

Any reason why it's no longer working on firefox?

Depending on the version of Firefox, it might not support the adobe plugin. Happened to me when FF4 came out, I had to reinstall adobe.

So yeah, never upgrading firefox again. Fuck those fucking fuckers.

Chrome always working isn't a surprise, google embeds the most recent flash version right into the browser.
Firefox and IE depend on different "versions" of the flash plugin. IE uses the ActiveX one, and FF the "netscape" Plugin that is also used by Opera and (i think) Safari.
Adobe still offers seperate installers for ActiveX and Plugin, just tried it out. Access the download page on adobe.com with FF and you get the plugin installer, with IE it's the AX one. Check your installed programs if you have ActiveX and Plugin installed.

And Apelila, i'm running FF8 (most recent) and for the past ~3 years i always installed FF updates max. 1-2 weeks after release (sometimes waited because of addon updates), but i've never had any issues with flash.

Are you running Noscript? You can also get that error (I've seen it!) if Noscript is blocking Youtube/or site where the Flash is. Check your noscript after ya double check your Flash and make sure it's up to date. (That may be a "Well, DURRR!" but sometimes it's the one little thing you overlook..)

+1 for this. It's nice to have for websites that like to blast random ass videos at you (hi2u tech guy forums) but might be something you don't notice.
