    Last week
    Pick: 9-7
    ATS: 11-5

    Overall
    Pick: 95-51
    ATS: 74-68-4

    THU, NOV 17

NY Jets at Denver (+7) - We all know the quote, "Winning isn't everything; it's the only thing." Well, Red Sanders and Vince Lombardi never watched Tim Tebow play quarterback in the NFL. The slowest read option in recorded history somehow managed to fell Romeo Crennel and the mighty Chiefs defense. Now, a slightly better (and thinner) defensive mastermind in Rex Ryan is tasked with containing the running game. Knowshon is done for the year, McGahee is nursing a hammy, and who knows how effective Lance Ball can be. When Denver does go to the air, Revis and Cromartie should have a field day. I like Sanchez to have a good game with some short fields to work with. Still, Tebow always keeps it interesting. Jets win, Broncos cover.

    SUN, NOV 20

Oakland at Minnesota (PK) - With Peterson on one side, and either McFadden or Bush on the other, the one thing about this game I know is that both teams can run the ball. But which Raiders team shows up, the one who got quality road wins in Houston and San Diego, or the one shut out at home by the fucking Chiefs? As Palmer gets more and more comfortable in the silver and black, I'm gonna go with the former. Oakland wins easy.

Buffalo at Miami (-1) - Last week I was at a bar with my buddy, a Dolphins fan, who went on for about six or eight minutes about how terrible Marc Colombo is. "He's getting roasted in the Miami media," he'd say. Sure enough, after this rant, Ryan Kerrigan raced around him and crushed Matt Moore. This is the type of insight and hatred that only real fans can give you. I honestly don't know what to make of Buffalo. In the first half last week, they got killed in time of possession, only managed one score, and never fought back after halftime. And Fitzpatrick is doing his best Chris Johnson "get money, fuck over team" impression. Miami did look good last week, but c'maaaan, it's the Deadskins. Buffalo gets a tough road win.

Cincinnati at Baltimore (-7) - Cam Cameron is entering Andy Reid levels of offensive retardation. Best offensive player on the field? Get him five carries. I think the Ravens figure out how to get RayRay the ball, but will it matter against a very stout Bengals run defense? I have very little faith in Dalton this week, but even less in Flacco. Home field will be big here I think, and Rice will break a screen or wheel route. Ravens win, Bengals cover.

    Jacksonville at Cleveland (PK) -
    http://nflsoup.com/wp-content/upload...rdson-2011.jpg
    Jags win on the road.

Dallas at Washington (+8) - Remember when Mike Shanahan was a great coach? No? Me neither. He rode Elway and Terrell Davis to two rings, and has done jack squat since. The entire John Beck experiment was a disaster, and when you have an elite quarterback like Rex Grossman on your roster, why would you start anyone else? Dallas is starting to roll big time offensively. And even with Smilin' Miles still out, Laurent Robinson is benefiting from something he never had in St. Louis; a good quarterback with time to throw. I don't know which would be better troll bait, the 'Skins actually winning this one, or losing 60-0 and waiting for the next Chad Dukes rant on Monday. I know I said I'd never do this again but... Dallas wins and covers.

Tampa Bay at Green Bay (-14) -
    http://waiverstreetjournal.com/wp-co...-day-slide.jpg
    lol
    Packers win, Bucs cover.

Carolina at Detroit (-7) - Cam's run out of juice. Nigga what is juice? I want some DRANK. Detroit's 1-3 since their hot start, and everyone in these threads and even some people banned from posting in them has declared the Lions dead on arrival. And with Green Bay lurking next week, it's almost a must-win for Detroit. Calvin Johnson goes nuts, Detroit wins and covers.

Seattle at St. Louis (PK) - Marshawn ran early and often against Baltimore, going for over 100 yards despite a pretty poor 3.4 per carry. The Rams defense is slightly easier to run against, so I look for a monster day from him. Steven Jackson plowed through Cleveland's defense, which is exactly as difficult as it sounds. If this game comes down to who picks it up in the passing game, I just don't trust the Rams to keep Bradfeeley upright. Seahawks win on the road.

Arizona at San Francisco (-10) - As the 49ers get into the meat of their division schedule, things are going to get ugly. To paraphrase tyven, I bet Patrick Willis has a huge dick. San Fran wins and covers.

Tennessee at Atlanta (-7) - If Julio plays the full game, Atlanta will crush. If not, Atlanta will still crush. Tennessee has exactly one win I'm impressed with (vs. Baltimore) while the rest came against the dregs and bottom-feeders of the league. Falcons win and cover.

San Diego at Chicago (-3.5) -
    http://i.ebayimg.com/t/GEORGE-WENDT-...g%7E%7E_35.JPG
    NEVAR FORGET
    BEARS win and cover.

Philadelphia at NY Giants (-5) - I blame the NFL's "Punt, Pass & Kick" competition for its lasting impression on Andy Reid and the Eagles' struggles. If it had been "Run, Run & Run Some More" maybe LeSean could get the touches he deserves. I think it's about time DeSean Jackson gets more involved as well, two of my floundering fantasy teams would really appreciate it. I don't know if the G-Men's loss to San Fran last week tells us more about them or the '9ers, but they held their own and I don't think it's a step backwards for them. Eli could Manningface at any time, but I still like Giants to win, Eagles with the points.

    MON, NOV 21

Kansas City at New England (-15) - Gronk's a winner, Jaws. Patriots win, Chiefs cover.

Game is going to come down to the hands of Phillip Rivers, on one hand he could go for 400 yards, on the other hand he can go full retard. Which hand shows itself?

Pretty sure LA has enough money since they throw a ridiculous amount of at the Lakers for being the only real legitimate sports team in that town(say Clippers, go on, I dare you).

And if you've ever been at a Raiders game, you'd see why most people don't want to go. Their fans are a...special breed let's call it.

A new NFL team in a new stadium in downtown LA would be very well supported. There's so much corporate money itching to buy box seats and season tickets and whatever, it would be huge.

well, it's more like they throw money at the lakers because LA people are bandwagon as fuck. they want to associate with being a winner so they say they're laker fans.

but it's not just that. anything cool or trendy is what LA people want to be apart of. new football team in LA? that shit can be priced up like crazy and people will want to go just to say they're a part of it.

edit: and basically what archi said is true. there's no way an LA football team could fail, at least initially. it'd be one of the biggest markets in the world with everyone trying to get a piece.
