DC Nation… Has Been Replaced

Sorry people – there will apparently be no new episodes of Green Lantern: The Animated Series or Young Justice: Invasion this weekend… or next.

In what is apparently an extremely last minute schedule change, the DC Nation block has been replaced by repeats of DreamWorks Dragons: Riders of Berk on Saturday and Johnny Test on Sunday (10-11am both days).

The big question now is… what’s happened? Why the last minute removal and apparently no rescheduled dates?

There’s going to be a lot of mad people later this morning…

Could be a glitch but we'll see tomorrow

Once again Cartoon Network does it's best to tank any decent non-original IP series on their network despite it actually being a decent show.

Between their complete lack of advertising and absurd insistence on basing the success of a show solely on it's toy sales, if it's not something CN owns completely it has no chance of actually sticking around. It's like they actively WANT their shows to crash and burn as fast as possible. They're trying so hard to be like other networks but the biggest difference is other networks promote and support all of their shows, not just their personal IP series.

grrr the only cartoon I want to watch on CN anymore outside toonami and they can it for reruns of junk shows that should have been aborted.
hopefully another network will pick it up, would love to see The Hub get it, as they seem like the new and up coming cartoon channel. Transformers, Batman the Animated series, Batman beyond and more.

really is to bad, hearing about this and Avengers Earth's Mightiest heroes =/ concerning AEMH they keep showing new eps? they had the courtesy to actually finish showing the season rather then pulling and dousing it with bleach and napalm as is par for CN?

Avengers on XD got canned too? Oh, it's getting continued/replaced by Avengers Assemble. That's not so bad. At least it's getting a continuation. YJ looks to be canned totally lol

Because they seem to actively want to see non-original IP shows fail so they have an excuse to replace it with cheaper crap. The "CN" is absolutely horrendous when it comes to supporting stuff they didn't "create" themselves. It's actually one of the reasons why Hasbro decided to tell other networks to go screw themselves and made their own. Cartoon Network has been the go to channel for Transformers cartoons for years...and for all of those years they seemed to do everything they could to tank said cartoons. Constantly shifting time slots with no advertising was a common occurrence.

They did the same thing to Thundercats, didn't promote it, showed the bare minimum episodes and canned it despite whether it was doing well or not.

Ben 10...isn't horrible, but not great. It's marginally enjoyable, but this two new eps > hiatus til January is such bullshit

Don't know if it was a schedule change or what, but next episode (Before the Dawn) is available in some download places.

They put the show on Hiatus until next year. 3 new episodes and it's back on hiatus.

Thank goodness they canceled Batman: The Brave and the Bold, because heaven forbid that they have a Batman show that is written in an smart and clever manner.

Especially the episode with the Birds of Prey, and Bruce thinks he's a mobster. That shit was great, and god damn at the double entendres.

Is this show never on hiatus? Was finally getting back into it and bam gone again. Was hoping for a 3rd season but with way CN treats it I don't think its possible.

They probably figure if it's off air enough and spaced about schedule wise, people will stop watching and give them a reason to can it due to low ratings.

Little do they know, YJ's fandom is fucking insane.
