I had a vision of OP going to gyms and asking upon signup what their policy toward pre-op transgenders in the locker room are, and then storming off yelling she will take her business elsewhere.

She did kinda switch from "removing my clothing in front of someone with a penis" as being the problem to "seeing a penis that isn't my husband's" as the problem. Obviously she's just flailing for any reason to justify her bigotry in her eyes, and whatever "uncomfortable situation" that she can pose to feel like she's not being a bigot she'll try to run with.

I am not trying to "justify my bigotry" I'm just curious as to where this line of bigotry actually lies for you. So far, I've learnt that it is quite twisty.

In other news, I continued my survey in real life and have asked another six people this question, for a total of 13 (all people in their 20s and 30s). This brings to the total to ten of them said that they'd be uncomfortable (for various reasons) and would leave, two didn't care one way or another, and one was angry that anyone would ever leave that situation. When I presented the question I did not indicate my own feelings on the subject, as that would be unfair. I simply asked "How would you feel if a pre-op transgendered person were using the same changing room as you?"

it should also be noted that those pre-op trannys with dongs aren't going to exactly flaunt their man meat. Most do some weird shit to it that sticks it to their taint to make it close to unseeable. They are likely a million times more anxious about changing in front of bigots like OP than OP is about changing in front of them.

So most likely:
a) you won't notice the penis
or
b) they won't be changing in front of you anyways (and they aren't even demanding another locker room!)

I would be interested if you would conduct a survey amongst people you know in real life and report the findings. It does not have to be a large number of people. I would like to learn if they are similar or different. And I recognise the possibility of the results being different.

Hmm. I thought it was about learning a variety of views on a particular subject. I have not been the only one who disagreed with pre-op transgendered women/men being in the women's/men's changing rooms. I am simply the most curious about where the bigotry begins (apparently past the bathroom stall). If you do not wish to learn more about how people feel about this topic, then that is acceptable.

Still curious about why a personal choice that effects no one else (i.e. going into the bathroom stall) is not bigotry but the same personal choice that effects no one else (i.e. going into a different gym) is bigotry. I sadly don't believe I will ever get an answer other than "You're a fucking cunt bigot.". Ah well, I tried.

They both are actions a bigot might take. Others would be violence, demanding or expecting a separate space to change so you don't have to change in front of that subhuman, etc.

If you want to go to a bathroom stall to change because shit's weird, I get it. But it's clear that it's not that you're just talking about the initial "what the fuck" surprise of penis in the locker room, you're fundamentally opposed to being around it.

That's the difference. It's not fear of the unknown (a natural human reaction) it's a certainty in your conviction that your prejudiced actions are appropriate and acceptable - that's why you're a bigot.
