My little brother told me about this thread and I was all about it... for the first 2 pages. Everything was said that needed to be said I guess. So proud of y'all.

Personally, I would never ever expose myself to anyone anywhere (save the first time in +10years for my NECESSARY!!! physical with my hormone provider.) But I most definitely use women's bathroom and dressing rooms (which I originally thought this thread was about), but can't imagine a situation where a pre-op transwoman would expose her genitalia in a locker room environment. I'd avoid it entirely (I exercise at home), but would change in a stall if I couldn't, and would never risk being seen by trying to change while facing a corner. I realize every person holds a different view, but I would want as few people to see me nude as possible (and I really like my body for the most part) until after the surgery, because I just don't want people to know me like that. Even then, I'm "body shy" I guess. OP would probably win the lottery before she sees the penis of a transwoman.

People say your penis shrinks, I don't think so. I'm like 6.5months, so maybe it will later? Balls definitely do shrink, and go spongy. They retain the original shape, but you can squeeze/compress them, kind of like marshmallows! lol Other things are less apparent, the line on the underside of my penis has darkened (who cares), ejaculate is clear/odorless (yay!), and erections are unchanged, meaning you can have them when you want them, but don't pop up unless you try. I think a lot of the older, more vocal transitioners are really penis-phobic (calling it "that horrible thing!" etc.) and skew their experiences to match their personal preferences. I most definitely plan/am saving for a (Dr. Suporn) vag, but I see no reason to falsify the goings on of the bulge. lol

I really hope the freckle on the side of my penis ends up being on my labia, that would be really cool.

Spongy balls? That sounds so wrong but seems rather convenient... I know about the controllable erections, have been on anti-androgens for a while before estrogen. Pretty sweet being able to just think "no" when it tries to pull some stunt while riding a bumpy bus and have it totally obey. I'm not gonna go for full surgery, not for a while at least. Penises are ok, my biggest annoyance in that region are its buddies so I'll probably look into orchiectomy. If and when a fancier technique that doesn't require dilating is developed I will probably go for that though.
