Looking for a guy for Wireshark

Trying to learn Wireshark for work and when i used it on my home network there is so much traffic, and i dont understand much stuff.

So trying to find a guide that will help me learn more about it and how to make personally filters and all that stuff

Read the manual, I'm sure they have one. It's basically a pretty tcpdump, if you have to learn it for work then go read the docs.

If you don't have a basic understanding of networking and how the internet works you're going to be in a lot of learning or giving up early.

If you want a thorough understanding then read a book on networking then program your own packet parser and then build an IDS on top of it. That's what I did and it was actually pretty fun.
