I'm gonna butt in and suggest manga! Read Battle Angel Alita / Battle Angel Alita: Last Order (aka: Gunnm). There's also a 2 part OVA from it from the early 90s as well. Fantastic story, great art, been goin on for 20 years or so.

Battle angel was great. Kinda gave up on Last order because translation were taking forever, but I will finish it once it's over.

The translations aren't close to up to date on it? I could imagine maybe being 2-3 months behind, but Rippersanime does them, and they're up on Mangareader.

I gave up like 5 years ago when we went over 1 year without translation. What I mean, I will finish it when the manga will be close to being done.

I just watched Black Butler and really liked it. Only like 25 episodes so really easy to blow through once you get into it.

I agree that Black Butler is really good. The 2nd season wasn't as good but it offered a different (and pretty interesting) ending to the series.

Some of the shit in there are just stretching it, but overall it's a decent list, seem rather on the old side though since I'm not seeing any big name from the last 2 years or so, unless /a/'s just being faggots about it

Those charts are pretty old. It's actually a few different ones stuck together. They are pretty good charts but they need an update. Like, I would put Nichijou instead of Azumanga cause fuck Azumanga :D

Fuck that, Azumanga is amazing (and still funny considering its age). Yotsuba& is funnier, but I still love Azumanga.

Azumanga was amazing. Some of the parts with the penguin were stupid as fuck though.

I decided to download Escaflowne/Aria/Kanon/Sola, think I got enough series for now.

Since I don't see it mentioned, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. It's beautiful, it's entertaining, the voice over work is very good, especially for D.

I just didn't like Azumanga, it drags and it's kind of boring to me. I can't get myself to watch it. Nichijou on the other hand I actually find funny for whatever reason. I realize they are pretty much the same thing but idk.
