Oh, thanks. By the way, is there a way to distinguish between different items of the same name? Say, I have multiple Tuajehbats (magian staves, one for pet:attack, one for pet:MAB, etc.) and had spellcast (via commands) get it from sack before and after use, can you tell it which one?
Any idea why '/console High Jump' crashes my windower every time?
Idk, that's what I've used for all my in-game macros for as long as I can remember thou, and I've never had a problem before.
Any word on Yarnball???
Does "/console HighJump" crash you? Only thing I can think of is that "/console High" is trying to do something that is crashing you, but I don't know.
Like was said, though, there is no good reason to not just use standard in-game commands and just let spellcast do everything behind the scenes. All of my macros are like they would be if I played without spellcast. /ma "Dia III" <t>, etc. Also helps for the short time after an update if spellcast is borked, I can still hit my macors, and while gear doesn't change, I still cast whatever I was trying to cast.
I was under the impression precast doesn't work properly if you use regular game commands, IE: gear swap before a JA, fast cast set before casting, etc, since the game would be trying to execute the command before it can go through spellcast. Is that not the case?
Can't test at the moment, but '/console High Jump' didn't crash me unless I was actually targeting a mob with it.
I know that in-game macros (or hitting things from menu) will equip precast stuff, as my convert will still equip all my MP gear before actually converting.
Idea for the next windower:
I have a wireless controller that needs to be "turned on" each time I power up my laptop and must be turned on before loading FFXI on windower. When I logged into the test server a few minutes ago, I forgot to turn on the controller but turning the controller on after loading FFXI allowed me to use the controller. I would like that happen with windower too if possible.
One thing I did notice was that I wasn't able to /get "Ifritite" sack, or certain other items. Similiarly, I was also unable to use 'find' to locate it, either. I seem to recall someone mentioning that issue for 'find', but it also seems to be an issue for itemizer, too.
Seems relevant to post this here
How come when I do a //gc whatever, if its seems like it has to move a lot of items, my game freezes, and I ultimately r0?
What is your delay set to, and do you have debug on?
Delay 500 (default?)
I'm unaware of any debug function
You can force any of Aureus' plugins to generate a debug file by adding <debugMode>true</debugMode> to the settings xml (settings/GearCollector.xml). That will probably be the first step in a situation like this, but you should also check to make sure you have the most updated version. I use these settings and they work most of the time. blockKeyboard and blockMouse were causing crash problems for me until I set them to false. I get two other frequent problems:
1) GearCollector causes an error and unloads itself.
2) GearCollector decides that (instead of grabbing what I asked it to grab) it wants to put away all of my gear. Reloading typically fixes this.
Neither of them seem to generate anything useful in the debug file, unfortunately. I still feel that using gearcollector is a lot faster and less effort than swapping gear myself even with the two above errors.
