What's the trick for getting recast to work? I'm using 3.431 and the newest recast found from the windower site. I've tried //updateresources and that hasn't helped anything.

Position matters. Windower folder > Plugins Folder > Recast.txt. Start the x/y position at 0,0 until you find something that works for you.

At least that was my problem last time.

edit: On my dual-box screen set to 800x600, I use x=20 and y=375

Autoexec can react to tells, it would run on the other accounts that would be taking commands.

Can use Sandbox with XI Util. That allows you to //send <command> to other accounts; not necessarily using /tell. I have a bunch of //send commands set up to binds for my dual-box WHM.

I've got a noob question for ya...

Installed windower, it launches and makes me input POL pws and whatnot, but when it comes time to actually, well load windower and plugins, nothign happens and the game rolls on as if I had just logged in through regular ffxi means.

Any ideas?

If you are on Windows Vista or Windows 7, make sure you are running Windower as admin (right-click, run as admin). Otherwise the Windower hook won't function properly.

So all of my plugins work fine EXCEPT for pettp, gearcollector, and attainment. When I try to load them I just get : "Error - failed to load plugin"

Any ideas?

where can i learn or use this sandbox thing you mention. After dual box for many year kinda getting lazy in alt tab. Everytime i wish i could just do a simple executing in the same window to tell my whm to cure me or something else.

Anyone has any good ffxi plugin to suggest or a good autoexec guide that i could refer^^?

Excuse me ; I would like to use GC but 1 question cause not workin.

I would like to move items in specific storage like safe or sack. In my GC.xml, true is set for safe/satchel/sack.
Now in my jobs.xml i've set some items like : <body store = "satchel">Body_name</body>
I took care about the body name with the right case but it don't moves in the right storage preference.

Any suggestions/solutions ?

Can you set Windower up so that if you log in as one PoL account, it logs in as a certain resolution, but using a different PoL account, it uses different resolutions?

Not really, but you can use POLUtils' sandbox feature to do that by associating different .ini files with different accounts and booting from POLUtils.

If by resolution you mean window size you can do this in the shortcut to your windower:

C:\atariii\Windower\launcher.exe -x 640 -y 480

This will let the window size be 640x480 and override your launcher.ini settings
