It's as safe as it has ever been. Obviously you are using a third party program, so don't be stupid. If you're paranoid, stay away from anything that uses packets, but those are generally regarded as safe too.

If anyone were to get banned, you'd see the windowed devs banned first.

Autoexec seems broken. I recently returned and found this issue while working on someone's NIN XML.

Edit: Seems to be the case. AE has problems reading buffgain and loss it seems.

It must have happened after that second update they did, because my losebuff: haste was working after the 22nd update but I haven't been on in a few days where I've been doing something for it to trigger.

Edit: Just tried it, losebuff works on all 3 of my computers.

Taking screenshots seems to cause windower to crash.(among other things but the biggest nuisance is no screenshots without crashing) i did a full file check on xi. added back in xi view and xi vision and updated my plugins. Just retested and it's a complete crash. my windower is the latest version as well.

Is there a debug file anywhere i can send in to see what's wrong?

pet ready moves for jetattura, fantod and hardened shell don't work for bst. (its trying to use the blue spells instead) its a return of an old bug. There's a workaround, but need to add these abilities to the list.

Make sure you are running as administrator. You can right-click and select "Run as administrator" or you can right-click and go to "Properties" and then go to the "Compatibility" tab. Under "Privilege Level", check the box to "Run this program as an administrator". The latter will set it so you don't have to right-click and Run as every time.

I fought this every which way, tried every recommendation, eventually had to downgrade from windows 7 back to vista. GL

I did a reinstall of the game again after "downgrading" UAC a notch or two, after that i've never had any issues with windower and win7 in general.

I've been trying to make the spellcast works by updating the resources.xml of new blu spells to appropriate value, but heck spellcast still register whatever registered on old value.

What's wrong with my method?

Change from .png to .jpg. Init file, the line 'bind sysrq screenshot jpg hide' or whatever.

Are you reloading spellcast every time you make a change? Spellcast holds a copy of the resources I guess as it is working so any changes made won't have an impact unless you reload first.

You have to make the changes to ~/Windower/Plugins/Resources/spells.xml - ~/Windower/Plugins/resources.xml is only used for current recast, and spellcast before version 2.1 or so.

It's fixed now.
It crashed earlier because I didn't add the alias property in 1 of the entry.

Make sure you download the Vista/7 POL client from POL's website. That's how it worked for me.
