wasn't knocking the texans at all. It is what it is. Probably not going to make it to the conference championship with TJ yates, but could if he plays moderately well against good teams on the road

I think those losses were just anomalies - they get up for games and will make the playoffs, which is enough for me to call them contenders

i guess, that Thursday seemed like so long ago now but GB was up by 15 at the end of the 3rd

N.O. needed (1)a successful onside kick with (2)a game tying drive that would have needed to include (3)a 2-pt conversion so yeah if all 3 of those things happened they would have took GB to OT and then who knows what would have happened... err i mean who knows who would have won the toss.

If you can score in bunches, you are a contender vs. the Packers (Saints, Steelers, Patriots). If you can't (49ers, Ravens, TJ Yateses), then no.

the reason I wouldn't consider 49ers a true competitor in the NFC is because our DBs are the weakest part of our D and that just happens to be the best strength about the high powered offenses GB/NO.. but bah any given sunday wtf knows N.O. lost to STL for god sakes this year
