Hello,
I just put together a PC and when I power on the computer, the light comes on, but it doesn't boot anything. There are no beeps, either. One thing I could think of is that the 4 pin square connector thing near the CPU isn't plugged in, but I don't remember seeing a connector for that off of the PSU.
This is the first PC I've attempted to build, so I feel like I may be missing something simple
Edit: Okay, didn't realize that the 4 pronged pin was actually locked together to a second 4 prong pin... which made it look like an 8 prong. Anyway, plugged that in and then plugged my monitor to my mobo's video rather than my videocard and now I'm getting picture.
Now my SSD isn't being recognized... T.T I know I have the power cable and data cable hooked up to it and it didn't come with any kind of installation cd... ~.~
Do I need to install windows on a normal hard drive first, then do something in windows to get it to recognize the SSD, then go ahead and reinstall windows on the SSD...? So confuzzled
