Hell on Wheels on [AMC]

Has anyone been watching this? I looked but didn't see a thread for it. I think it's airing on sundays, just watched the first 3 episodes, watching the 4th now, all that have aired, and its been an amc calibur show all the way through.

It's a western set just after the civil war about building the railroads, manifest destiny, racism, all that shit.



trailer is meh, but show has been great.

Seeing how it comes on right after The Walking Dead I usually just turn the channel. I have to get around to downloading it and catching up since The Walking Dead is on a break until February or something.

I've been watching it, I think it's a great show.

I've been keeping up with it. Been pretty good so far. All of the main characters seem interesting enough with the exception of the Irish guys that run the slide show, they seem pretty extraneous but I'm holding out that I'll be proven wrong somehow down the road on that one. Above all, I think the best part of the show is the setting. I don't ever remember seeing a western go any farther than mentioning the trans-continental railroad construction in passing, let alone center around it. Which I find puzzling since it was such a defining moment in the West and for America as a whole.

The last 2 episodes of this show have been just gruesome.
