FUMBLE TIME
If the game is not over, that should be excessive celebration and be backed up to the 16.

BLOCK PARTY
I will never understand trying to 'get position' from the one yard line for a fg when you could just run it in...
blocked fg would be so epic
I hope they miss this shit too
fuck they called time out
kicker gonna forget how to kick
pretty good game, feel for Stanford, but then again, I"m laughing because they were talking about how good their coach was, then he makes the decision of "Hey, we've got 50 seconds left, three timeouts, the #1 NFL Draft pick at QB... and we settle for a 35 yard FG from our Freshman kicker. smart guys, right?"
OKState deserves props for the comeback
"coach gundy, you said this game would come down to the final play. what did it take to win?"
"icy hot in the kickers jock"
See you in August Luck. You did all you could to win this game.
Honestly I think it was that they were content to play for overtime, and if they got into field goal range in the process that was just bonus.
I was thinking as soon as they got the ball that there's no question they'd rather run out of time and head to overtime than shoot for a score and fall short, giving OSU the ball back with time on the clock.
Anyway yeah, great game, shitty ending, but meh take what you can get I suppose. I expected more from OSU but still, that game had pretty much everything, including some pretty good defense from time to time.
......what? they got the ball with over TWO MINUTES with Andrew Luck at QB, did they not? Content to playing for OT? No. They were easily in position and just settled for a 35 yard FG with a young kid kicking, lol. It was poor coaching to the extreme.
Their plan.. they had 2 minutes, all timeouts.. just drive methodically down the field, get in good position and kick for the win. They just flubbed it up badly, lol If they were playing for OT.. they would have just run the ball early in the drive and gone from there.. they drove down the field really easy. I just won't ever understand why they'd settle for what they did, lol
You just watched an entire game...
Name a Stanford receiver off the top of your head.
guy had like 15 catches before tonight lol, but yeah... I dunno, it really is exactly what I thought when they got the ball, although I can't say I disagree with the idea that when they got there with 50 seconds they could have like run it down to 20 and run a couple plays with 3 timeouts
they had the ball on like.. the 20 yard line with 3 time outs and 50 seconds. they could have run a screen, or even handed it off a couple times with those timeouts and had time to kick the FG from a shorter distance or hell, get a TD in on OKState's defense
yeah, the kicker sucked balls twice, but I blame the coach for terrible clock management from the school of Andy Reid lol
I wonder what their yards per screen pass was. It seemed like they busted a bunch of them wide open.
