I was talking about the logic. Oregon scored 27 on LSU (pretty sure like half was garbage time anyway), Oregon beats Wisconsin, Wisconsin puts up 30 easy on LSU?

Congrats to Bama.

As an LSU fan the best part about tonights game is that theres no more Jefferson, that guy is the dumbest QB I have ever seen in my life. Les Miles called an awful game, I said it all week to people that they would have to come out throwing, Bama had a great gameplan, it is exactly what I was expecting outta LSU on offense to do if they were going to have a chance in this game.

I started flipping between Troy and the game because this travesty of a title game was so boring. I hope all the inbreds in Alabama and Louisiana had a good time, because the rest of the country sure didn't.

Kinda of funny you say that because the BCS put both of those teams into that game, lol.

I think we're going to see some tweaks to the BCS system soon, I much rather a playoff because of how terrible all the bowls are prior to the new year. I don't understand how you put 10-1 teams against 6-6 teams in a bowl and expect a competitive game. The BCS does its job to pit 1 vs 2 but the rest is laughable, teams getting picked because how well they travel is crappy for fans but good for making money.

By about the second quarter I was screaming at the TV for Jarret Lee. It was obvious Jefferson wasn't going to get anything done.

Ah well, next year should be pretty good.

It got so bad that when the Crimson Tide dumped the Gatorade on Alabama coach Nick Saban, I half expected the Gatorade to be tackled for a loss. It got so bad that the 50-yard line died of sadness after the third quarter, and nobody noticed. It got so bad that the bespectacled marine biologist Allstate trotted out to try a 40-yard field goal at halftime had a legitimate shot to outscore the entire LSU offense. In the end, his zero-field goal performance only tied the entire LSU offense. He will be ranked no. 4 in the preseason coaches’ poll.

It got so bad that I spent about 15 minutes trying to plot what would happen if the bespectacled marine biologist were a team in the SEC West. Assume he’d lose in, say, six overtimes at Baton Rouge. That would make him the favorite against Auburn and the Mississippis, right? Even playing every position on both sides of the ball simultaneously and not being in shape or having a helmet or pads, he couldn’t produce a worse game plan than Les Miles and Greg Studrawa did Monday night in Alabama's 21-0 win over LSU. Honestly, I think he’d have a shot at the conference title game if he could squeak out the win over Arkansas.

Somewhere, on one of those winding forest roads that are always showing up in Michelin commercials, a deer frozen in the headlights of an onrushing Subaru Outback devoted the final second of its short life on earth to the thought: You know what, I’m still running the speed option better than Jordan Jefferson is right now.

Wow. Thoroughly outcoached and outplayed in all facets. Congrats to Bama.

Anyone who thinks Lee would have given us a chance is fooling themselves, imo. If anything, not playing Mettenberger this season(when he is probably the most talented QB on the roster) probably cost us a NC.

You have to seriously question what the hell the coaching staff has been doing the past 6 weeks. I could type an entire essay about everything that pissed me off last night but the bottom line is Bama is a better team and played a much better game.
