I'm happy to see that the legal system is ever so slowly making progress towards equality (the same legal action regardless of the gender of the victim) in sex crimes.

Granted, the only reason something was likely done was due to this being high profile.

They are now reporting (this time for real) that he has died. I always figured he would live to 100. It's weird how Paterno died shortly after coaching just like Bear Bryant.

A lot of people who work into that old of an age die right after retirement. Sense of purpose etc.

Or not. Kind of like your wife saying she's going to let you sleep with her and another girl for your birthday, and it turns out she just bought you a puppy.

Kept up with the Senior bowl and seeing some good news about my favorite jesus loving QB (not Tebow) makes me happy. I hope he finds a good home in the NFL, kid has massive massive potential.

Have to admit #MichiganState QB Kirk Cousins looks like a flame thrower in comparison with Russell Wilson and Kellen Moore #SeniorBowl

Kirk Cousins is such a great young man. Pulled the Mack Brown trick, remembering your name and starting each answer by addressing you.

Grabbed dinner in line w/ Kirk Cousins. Presented w/ shrimp & grits, he said "those..go together?" Welcome south, Spartan. #MSU @seniorbowl

RT @ScoutKennedy #michiganstate Kirk Cousins throws ball with different velocity than Russell Wilson & Kellen Moore.Much stronger arm..

I won't be the last to tweet this during Senior Bowl week: came away very impressed after talking to Kirk Cousins. Teams will too.

3:46 p.m. CT - Kirk Cousins (QB/Michigan State) has shown the best arm of any signal caller on the North and it's of legitimate NFL strength. He's powered the ball into the tight spots and has challenged the hands of his receivers.

From that earlier discussion about the Wisconsin AD and what he actually did I guess. (Meant for Archie)

The source told 27 News Chadima’s actions with the victim involved “grabbing his crotch.” A second source with knowledge of the review said the victim was reluctant at some point to continue to pursue reporting what happened, although a report to university officials was originally made.

    we're doomed

national signing day coming up next week and our coach leaves. as much as i'd love to pretend we'll hire some kind of relatively accomplished coach to try to maintain recruits, i dont see it happening. dont blame schiano for leaving though, hope he has success in TB.

Aw yeah, always loved Samuels: http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2...labama_co.html

Former University of Alabama All-American offensive tackle Chris Samuels will join the Crimson Tide coaching staff as an offensive line assistant, according to a report from The Washington Post. Samuels, who started 42 games for the Crimson Tide from 1996 through 1999, was chosen third overall in the 2000 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins and was a six-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle before being forced to retire due to injuries in 2010. He spent the 2011 season as the offensive coordinator at Blount High School in Prichard, Alabama.

Samuels told The Washington Post's Mike Jones that he plans to complete his degree while coaching at Alabama.

"They'll pay for me to finish my degree, and I'll be able to learn from some great coaches over there at Alabama. ...It's just been a blessing for me," Samuels said. "It's a huge opportunity for me. I learned a great deal about football from all those years of playing and being around a lot of great coaches."

Samuels won the Outland Trophy in 1999 after leading Shaun Alexander and the Crimson Tide offense to 1,383 rushing yards.

The hire follows the recent departure of Crimson Tide assistant Rob Sale, who accepted a position at McNeese State on Tuesday as offensive line coach. Sale had served as a weight room assistant and offensive video analyst for Nick Saban since 2007.

National signing day bitches! #1 recruiting class in the nation again.

Hopefully they'll pan out on the field. Looks like Florida State had a strong signing day and finished second...Ohio State also finished strong (6th) after not being ranked when Urban took over.

It's a good thing Urban Liar can sleeze his way into turning commits over. I'm glad he's making such a grand reputation here in the B1G.
