I wish I got a chance at that drug before my transplant.

it's been a year, we deserve a then and now!
Glad to see you are still rocking, dude.
Its probably just the hair style, but you reminded me of "The Listener" guy.
ill show you a sexy face!
As someone else said, I hope you make these posts every year for a long time. I can't even imagine how much you've gone through. The worst I've ever had was a broken arm.
Glad you're still around
grats, duder! your positive attitude is inspirational! also i agree with vandole, then and now ftw.
Nobody likes you.
j/k I miss you glad to see you're doing well buddy!
I remember when you posted those pics last year too. Grats on year 1 complete, cheers to many more to come.
Yea, Ivacaftor is the drug in question. It's considered a breakthrough because it actually targets the true problem in CFers, which is the CFTR gene mutation. All CF therapy before this is essentially symptom management. They only tested on adults in the trial though - ideally you would want therapy available from childhood.
Congrats on one year into that! I can't even imagine what it was like wondering if you could have a double reject.
I'm not really familiar with the disease Myrrh. Did the new set of lungs cure or just alleviate the CF?
Congratulations! I admire your positive attitude and determination. I know how much it sucks to live with something incurable that effects your life, even though my blood problem is really minor in comparison. Hang in there!
Congrats on the first of what I am sure will be many more years to come.
this is a serious question
how does this affect your sex life?
Awesome that things have been working out so good. I hope things continue to go this well for you.![]()
Happy for you, man
