On the subject of flags, it is a matter of identity. Plenty Americans are proud of where they came from. For foreigners, it is about being proud of who you are.
Latino/Hispanic nations shit on each other like yanks and canuks (sp) do. Like brits and poles do.

They don't actually. The problem is most of them (read: pretty much all) don't have the fortitude to maintain those jobs for very long (and I really can't blame them.)

I guess I'm the odd ball cause I'm mexican and I'm not proud but I probably don't count as much since I was born here (US). My mother on the other hand is like me and she was born over there. She really dislikes her fellow mexican co-workers. You're right, I really don't understand it either.
