I could ask the same of the PR people.

Don't think I have managed to meet one in the US that doesn't have a PR flag on their: car, fridge, door, arm, backpack/purse/whatever, cellphone, and probably (though I haven't checked) on the inside of their asshole.

But when I ask them why they are here they say, PR has no economy/jobs/future/anything.

I'm PRcan and I don't have a single flag except for on ball cap that my grandparents got me and a friend when we went to visit. None of my family that still lives on the island has a SINGLE item that has the flag on it. Not even a T-Shirt. There is something about the New Yoricans(and a lot of them around in general) that for some reason they always have a flag like you said. I don't get it at all /shrug.

idk, wasn't even referring to NY PRs as much as I don't think I've ever met any of those. Just in Cali and in FL (<-these ones scare me as they are loud as FUCK). But ya it's insane.

Florida above Miami is actually a majority in Mexicans. I've known literally a handful of Puerto Ricans in Tallahassee while tons of Mexicans.
