Also, when the fuck did Bruegger's start doing bakers dozens? Went to get a dozen bagels the other morning and was surprised when they asked what I wanted as my 13th bagel (I asked for 12 of x, instead of using the word "dozen"). I've never been so happy about a "free" bagel

Several can be less than 6-11 to me.
I also have to constantly correct myself because it is ingrained in my brain to use a "couple" for any amount 2-5ish

Always been a peeve of mine when people refer to something as "a couple" when they know it's more than 2.
If it's ambiguous and could be 2, it's acceptable (up to 3, maybe 4), but no asshole, you said you needed my help for "a couple" hours, not 5+ (I see no reason for my brother to be reading BG, but whatever).
